When You Can’t Decide Where to Eat

When we are on the go, we love to try out the local food. So, during our vacation we visited numerous restaurants since food tasting is one of our favorite activities. They were all very, very good but we picked two to write about.

One of our two absolute favorites is “Konoba Bonaca” in Zadar. Located in a quiet side street (Trg Tri Bunara 4) close to the sea and city center.
We ordered seafood risotto and shrimp pasta. Both our meals were visually appealing, very generous in serving sizes, and most importantly made with fresh ingredients. Risotto was perfectly flavored and had a nice creamy consistency and pasta was cooked al dente, just like it should be.
Service was very attentive and kind.

Our favorite number two is pizzeria “Rea” in Sveti Filip i Jakov. We went there for an early dinner and the place was already busy but not uncomfortably crowded. Very friendly staff helped us find seats at the beautiful terrace with captivating seaview.

Looking at the menu, we found a lot more dishes than just  pizza. We decided to order two pizzas to share: arugula-prosciutto and seafood.

Both pizzas had thin and crispy, but not dry crust. They were made with fresh high quality ingredients.  The amount of seafood, as well as prosciutto was just right and cheese melty. The toppings were generous but not too heavy.

There was no room for a dessert so we opted for espresso as we enjoyed the view.
